HMKW University of Media, Communication and Business was founded in 2008 and is a private, state-recognized university with over 1,600 students at campuses in Berlin, Cologne and Frankfurt am Main.
The university specializes in the fields of:

With the help of practice-oriented modules and interdisciplinary projects, a dynamic course of study is created, which makes it possible to work with real cooperation partners from the free economy and to establish valuable contacts with companies.
In order to appeal to new generations of students, HMKW wants to reach them exactly where they already are: TikTok. In an initial test month, the aim was to find out whether this channel could demonstrably reach potential prospective students.

Review and results
For HMKW, digital communication is not just part of its student offerings - it is also taking new and contemporary directions in its own communication channels. That's why it not only maintains the usual social media platforms like Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn, but also ventures into younger platforms like TikTok. Because that's exactly where her target group sits: young people who are asking the question of what they want to do after they finish school.
So together we ventured on a 30-day test to find out:
- Whether TikTok can also be a channel for performance-driven student recruitment.
- How to spot their target audience on the channel
- What targeting in the form of ads work well.
In this test, we not only learned a lot together, but also generated results directly: A total of 86 young people indicated their interest via a lead ad form and left their contact details for further information.
We synchronized the contacts into HMKW's HubSpot CRM using the Zapier integration. This way, the new contacts could be directly passed on to the student advisory service and the new contacts could be further nurtured.
Website Relaunch of the NORDAKADEMIE

In its anniversary year - 30 years after its founding - NORDAKADEMIE is launching a new, self-confident communication that highlights the strengths of the university of business with a modern look.
The new look is intended to appeal in particular to the young, technology-savvy, health-conscious and environmentally aware target group of students - Generation Z. But NORDAKADEMIE also presents itself to (cooperating) companies as a modern university and innovative partner in the training and further education of its young specialists and managers.
In addition to the visual component, the performance of the website and the customization options of the individual modules are also in the foreground. The goal is to program user-friendly and easy-to-use modules that nevertheless have a high complexity of setting options for the editor.
